Now this is a great option for you if you're looking for something just to get your skis from point A to point B, so let's take a close look at it. They're gonna have these big buttons on 'em, which you can just press with your palm and they open right up, which is great if you have those thicker gloves or mittens on. And now to access my ski, I'm actually going to step inside my vehicle 'cause that is a far reach. Just keep in mind if it's snowy outside, be careful because you could slip and fall. Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Inno Gravity Ski and Snowboard Carrier, and seeing how it fits on the top of our 2024 Subaru Outback. So this style of carrier, a lot of people like because it's gonna be a lot smaller and less expensive than something like a rooftop box. Sure, your skis and snowboards will not be enclosed like they would be with a box, but let's say the place you're going has a parking garage, you're not adding near as much height to your vehicle. So for those low clearance situations, you don't have to worry about it as much, and it's a lot easier to just keep in storage in the off season because this can go on a shelf in your garage much easier than a large 16 cubic foot box. more

Hi, everyone. Aiden here at etrailer, and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Kuat Grip Skiing Snowboard Carrier, and seeing how it fits on the roof of our 2024 Subaru Outback. Now it's important to note that we are using the factory roof rack on the Outback and that's great because it already comes with your vehicle. You might as well utilize it, and with how close it sits to the roof, you just wanna know right away that it's gonna work. These thinner factory bars don't always work the best with certain rooftop accessories, but this one is great because the bands are thin and low profile, and adjustable so they can get nice and snug on there, and you don't have to worry about it shifting around on your roof. The other benefit to this style of carrier for your skis and snowboards is that it's much more low profile, and generally is going to be less expensive than something like a rooftop box, which a lot of people like for skis, and snowboards. more

Now, as I said, we're going to be able to carry up to four skis, two snowboards, or maybe some fishing rods during the off-season using this carrier. We do have these oversized buttons, so even if we are wearing something like gloves for skiing or snowboarding, just a quick press on them and they do unlatch. They stay open by themselves, which is really nice, so that way when we are loading or unloading our gear, we don't have to worry about holding those open. They stay open themselves, which makes it so much easier just to grab our gear and be good to go. more

Hey everybody, Cooper here from etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima FreshTrack on our 2023 Nissan Titan. Now, the FreshTrack is going to be a very good entry level way, if you wanna carry around up to four pairs of skis, to snowboards, or maybe even some fishing rods during the off season. Whenever you're ready to get out your things, we just have these oversized buttons right here on the front, that when you press, (component clanks and clicks) does just release into that up position. So, even if you are wearing those kind of oversized gloves that you usually wear when you're going on skiing or snowboarding, it is really easy to press even from just with (component thuds) the palm of your hand. And with those kept in place up, is really easy just to go ahead and grab your gear, and then you're ready to hit the slopes. more

If anything, it'll probably be more accommodating to a wider variety of skis and snowboards just because the crossbar spread's gonna be a little bit closer together and you won't be as limited with the length just because having the two carriers closer together means that shorter gear is gonna be okay. Now the FatCat EVO is going to be a perfect way if you want to carry around up to four pairs of skis, or two snowboards, or somewhere in between. And one really nice, unique feature about the Yakima FatCat EVO is the fact that if you have something with those extra tall bindings, there's actually a ski lift riser, which helps accommodate for that, so that way we don't have to worry about damaging our roof at all. Now, when you're ready to take out your skis or snowboard, the first thing you're going to do is press our nice oversized button here, which will just lift our arms up into place. And the fact that they stay up in the place means you don't have to try to hold onto them while you're also trying to grab your gear off. more

Hey everybody, Cooper here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Kuat Grip on our 2023 Nissan Titan. Now to get directly into one of the reasons that this is a really great fit for our Titan, as you can see, the furthest back point on our Kuat Grip, which can carry up to four skis or two snowboards is really far back. So the loading and unloading process would be very difficult. But with the Kuat Grip, one of the really great features about it is that once you open those up, you actually have these little buttons and this all slides right out, allowing us really easy access to even the furthest point back on our ski and snowboard carrier. So that way, we're can just go ahead and grab our gear really easily. more

Rhino-Rack Ski and Snowboard Carrier Review - 2023 Nissan Titan- Video
Hey, everybody, Cooper here from etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Rhino-Rack Ski and Snowboard Carrier on our 2023 Nissan TITAN. Now, the Rhino-Rack Ski and Snowboard Carrier is going to be a very good entry level way to carry up to four pairs of skis, two snowboards, or maybe some fishing rods during the off season. Whenever we're at our destination and ready to go, we're gonna need to go ahead and get our gear off. Thankfully, we have these nice oversized buttons here on the front, so even if we were wearing those thick gloves that typically come with skiing or snowboarding, the buttons do press and unlatch fairly easily. And then, we can go ahead and grab our gear, and now, we're ready to hit the slopes. more

Yakima FreshTrack Ski and Snowboard Carrier Review - 2015 Toyota Tacoma- Video
Hi everyone. Aiden here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima FreshTrack ski and snowboard carrier for your roof, and seeing how it fits on top of our 2015 Toyota Tacoma. Now, if you're looking to carry skis and snowboards, maybe some fishing rods in the summer, this is a great way to do it and one of my personal favorites. Of course, you have a truck with a truck bed, so there's a lot of space there, but there's nothing to really secure this stuff down and keep it from moving around. So having a roof mounted carrier is going to keep it well gripped so it's not sliding around freely. more

Inno Gravity Ski and Snowboard Carrier Review - 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer- Video
Hi, Matt with etrailer. And today, we're gonna be talking about the Inno Gravity Ski and Snowboard Carrier on top of the 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer. If we look up here, our Gravity's gonna have the ability to carry up to three fat skis or two snowboards. It's gonna be a great entry-level carrier that is a tool-free install. Kuat Grip Ski and Snowboard Carrier Review - 2021 Jeep Wrangler- Video
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at E-Trailer and today we have the Kuat Grip Ski and Snowboard Carrier and we are going to take a look at how it fits our 2021 Jeep Wrangler. The Kuat Grip is one of my favorite premium carriers, because it's slides out, it has a really sleek look, and you can get it in different colors. So here's an example of how it can be helpful on the Jeep. This is a taller vehicle, and I am a shorter person, so opening up the carrier, I just hit up on those levers. I access the other lever on the inside, and now I can slide out the carrier's tracks, to make this more accessible for me. So, rather than trying to reach up onto the Jeep and stand on the ledge with my large boots, I can then just slide out the whole system, grab my skis, and now I am ready to go. more

It has premium features like blocks that are included as well as a very low profile, sleek look. The version I have here is gonna be the EVO four, which means it can carry up to four pair of skis. But you can get a longer version too, which is the EVO six, which can carry up to six pair of skis. more

Hey everybody. Cooper here from etrailer. Today we're going to be looking at the Yakima FatCat EVO on our 2022 Mazda CX9. Now the FatCat EVO is going to be the perfect way to carry around up to four pairs of skis, two snowboards or any sort of combination in between those. They do have this rubber padding here which does help protect our items whether it be skis, snowboards or even if you wanted to use this for fishing rods during the off season. Having it in this rubber means that they're not gonna go anywhere and they are held in place and protected from the other items that you might be storing in it. more

Now this ski and snowboard carrier is going to be the perfect opportunity to carry around four pairs of skis, two snowboards, or some interchangeable number in between those. Taking a closer look at the carrier, we can see that it does have this really cool rubber padding which is going to help bind together our skis and snowboards or maybe some fishing rods if you'll plan on using this during the off-season. Not only does it hold our items in place but also protects them if we have multiple sets from kind of running into each other. more

Hi, everybody. Cooper here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima FreshTrack on our 2022 Mazda CX-9. Now, the FreshTrack is going to be a perfect opportunity to carry around up to four skis, two snowboards, or if you wanna use it during the off season, up to six fishing rods. There are two pieces of rubber, one on the top and one on the bottom. And that just really helps secure our item in place, letting us know that this is going to be held tightly and not kind of move around within the carrier. more

Hey everybody. Cooper here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Inno Gravity on our 2022 Mazda CX-9. Now the Gravity is going to be an excellent way to carry up to three pairs of fat skis or two snowboards. Taking a look at our carrier, we can see that there are two layers of rubber, one on top and one on the bottom, to help protect our items from any unnecessary damage from the carrier. But also, if we stack additional items in there, it is supposed to securely hold them in place. more

Kuat Grip Slide Out Ski and Snowboard Carrier Review - 2022 Mazda CX-9- Video
Hey everybody, Cooper here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Kuat Grip on our 2022 Mazda CX-9. The Kuat Grip is going to be a great way to carry around up to four pairs of skis, two snowboards or certain variations in between. Even if you have some of your oversized gloves on for skiing or snowboarding, you can simply kind of push up on the grip and even with my palm open, it does just kind of rise up and keep itself into place. Now we are able to access these skis fairly easily because they're a little bit towards the front. However, if you did have something more towards the back, we can activate the Kuat Grip's slide out feature with these little tabs that are just right here towards the top which does move all our accessories further out and make them even easier to grab and hit the slopes. more
